The cold months of late 2017 and early 2018 have been a busy time for all the Creekers. We've been writing new music, booking shows for 2018, and most importantly, looking for a new guitarist to fit in with our group of crazies. We were heartbroken to see our band mate and good friend Dave Borkowski leave the group, but in late fall we began the search for his replacement. After a couple of months of searching and picking, we can now say that we have finally found the man for the job. This January we invited Vincent Paul Bryant to join TFCB, and he has accepted the challenge (may God help him!). We couldn't be more excited to add someone with Paul's experience and talent to Fossil Creek Band. He fits in well with the rest of us (we've mostly behaved ourselves so far) and he "gets" what we are trying to do musicially, already making big contributions while we're working up our songs for 2018. We're trying not to overwhelm him while he is learning all the TFCB original tunes, but we are starting to make good progress in that area and we are definitely excited by what we have been hearing at our past few practices! Some of you may know Paul from the band Paul Bryant and Kentucky Border, a well known band throughout the eastern US and Canada for the past several years. You may even hear a few PBKB tunes over the course of our shows, ya just never know. Anyway, we just wanted to introduce you to Paul, and if you keep checking back, we should have our bios and photos updated over the next few weeks. More info coming your way shortly.
